Our Location: The Front
We loved the outside appearance of the front in the dark, because of the low key lighting it created and with the street lamp positioned outside the house there is a main source of lighting, creating shadows and an eerie effect. We found this miss-en-scene to be particularly effective as it fits perfectly with our stereotypical idea of a haunted hotel/motel. Additionally the silhouette of the tree to the left adds to the shadows and as a result the eerie atmosphere.
