Filming Script – Day 1 ____________________________

 (Old man and Whore needed)

 (Jock, Geek, Joker, Virgin not needed)

 (Camera/tripod needed for all)

1.     The Writing on the Wall

·         Locations – downstairs bedroom, lounge wall, top of stairs

·         3 shots – from down low and long enough to be able to read writing, different message on each one (refer to storyboard)

·         Props needed – wallpaper, bluetack, paint/brushes (made beforehand)

2.     Shots of Old Man

·         Locations – any inside room, need quick shots of close up facial expressions. Piano in lounge for music. Walking in lounge

·         1 shot - walking in lounge, opens door.

·         2 shots of face

·         2 shots of playing piano – close up on hands and medium shot. (Also record this on iPhone so we have the audio for our soundtrack)

·         Costume - shirt, waistcoat, glasses, black trousers/shoes.

·         Props - Sheet music

3.     Old photograph

·         Location – hall on the mantel piece above the fire

·         1 shot – close up

·         Props – black and white photo of old man and wife when younger in frame. Candles to create glow effect

4.     Inside the Motel (house)

·         Location – the house: fireplace alight, hallway, windows in lounge, antlers above mantelpiece.

·         4 shots – tracking in hallway, zooms on fireplace/antlers/windows

5.     Outside The Motel (house)

·         Location – outside the front of the house, outside the back of the house.

·         2 shots – slight pan across house on both. Lights on in house, shot from down low so house looks bigger and scarier.

·         Film at dusk

6.     Whore in the bath

·         Location – bathroom, bath filled with water

·         1 shot – close up of face underwater

·         Costume – bikini (pulled down so she looks naked)

Filming Script – Day 2 ____________________________

(Camera/tripod needed for all)

1.    The Car

·        Location – country road near the house

·        5 shots – driving on the road, medium shot of side view of car. Camera close to bonnet, close up front view of people inside. Diagonal/medium shot outside, car breaks down. Close up of steering wheel inside car. Shots of people in front seats, inside car.

·        Shoot at dusk

·        Props – car, bags.

·        Costumes – assigned costumes for characters.

2.    Outside the house

·        Location – on the road and outside the house

·        3 shots – all medium/long. Walking down the road, side view. Going in the gate, shot from behind. Outside the door, shot from behind.

3.    Inside the house

·        Location – hall and the lounge

·        2 shots – walking in the door, camera in hall, see them face on. Sitting on the sofa, front view.

4.    Bedroom

·        Location – the downstairs bedroom

·        6 shots – Low angle of the bed. Above the whore/jock asleep in bed, close up. Camera under bed, feet swing out and walk. Close up of hand switching on light.

·        Costumes – warm clothes over normal costumes. Bags on the floor.
