Storyboard...

Our storyboard has taken a long time to put  together due to detailed pictures of each individual shot included in our trailer which has taken a long time to perfect. However it is finally completed and we are able to post it.

Completing a storyboard is a beneficial piece of research as it allowed us to picture how our trailer would look before we began filming and helped us to organise each individual shot that we needed to make sure was filmed on both of the filming days. Although we only had our storyboard drawn in rough prior to filming, this still helped us to imagine what each individual scene would look like, from the character costumes, to the props and lighting.

We found whilst filming, that some shots that we planned in our storyboard were too difficult to organise and film so therefore we have adapted them slightly. For example, the shot of feet hanging. We decided to cut this shot out as we realised that it would be hard to capture whilst still making it look realistic and believable.
Additionally, some shots we have just adapted slightly as we felt it looked more effective. For example, the hands up against the window. We changed this shot so that the camera was the same side of the window as the character, and so that their whole body was in shot. This was so that we were able to capture the panic and urgency to get out of the house more effectively.
