 MUSIC FOR OUR TRAILER

In class we have learnt about sound in media, and for our trailer  we need to think about diagetic (sound the characters can hear) and non-diagetic (sound the audience cannot hear). Following our research questionnaire on horror movies, we found that all of our target audience viewed music as being an important factor in a trailer. 

Our basic ideas are to have a non diagetic score throughout the trailer that will get faster as the tension in the trailer and the speed of the cuts increases. Additionally we hope to include a voiceover that starts as non diagetic originally and moving from diagetic (a clip with dialogue) to non diagetic (the same voiceover without the clip).
