Experimenting with Fonts

For our movie logo, we decided to look at different fonts found on the website www.dafont.com and this gave us a big variety  of ideas that were available for The Writing on the Wall's logo.

The first fonts we looked at were typical Halloween fonts as our film is horror and needs to look scary on the website/poster. The last two imitate blood so the  logo could actually look like 'writing on the wall'. 

We then looked at more basic fonts that were simpler and familiar texts. 

After evaluating we decided we preferred the scarier fonts, that look like blood etc as it fits with our theme of horror better. The more simple fonts are common so would make our logo look original.
